LOC would like to share a few announcements concerning the Championships with you as follows.

1. Visa(or K-eta) Issuance

If you want to visit Korea in order to participate in this Championships, visas should be issued.
In some cases, it can take a long time for a visa application for Korea to be processed.
Athletes and officials who are confirmed to participated in the Championships need to visit a Korean Diplomatic Mission (such as Korean Embassy, Korean Consulate General, and Korean Consulate Office) in your country to apply for a visa early enough.

You can visit this site https://www.mofa.go.kr/eng/nation/m_4902/list.do to check a Korean Diplomatic Mission in your country.
If you are the citizen who are eligible for entering Korea without Visa, you should get a K-ETA(Korea Eletric Travel Authorization). For this please visit this site http://www.k-eta.go.kr

And check the attatched file to find out which country is needed visa (or K-ETA) 


2. Official Airports for arrival and departure

In order to come to Korea for this Championships, either Incheon International Airport (ICN) or Daegu International Airport (TAE) can be used.
You can use direct flights from international airports such as Thailand (Bangkok), Vietnam (Da Nang), China (Yanji), Japan (Tokyo/Narita, Osaka), and Taiwan (Taipei) to get to Daegu International Airport (TAE).
However, there are not many direct flight to Daegu International Airport (TAE), so please check your flight schedule in advance.
Transportation from these two international airports to the athletes’ village will be provided.
The distance between the Incheon international airport and the athletes’ village is about 225km, and the distance between the Daegu international airport and the athletes’ village is about 130km.
